Here's how Pool's players rated:
7. Jay Spearing - 6/10
Provided the usual tough tackling but was otherwise fairly quiet and subdued before being brought off.
8. MAN OF THE MATCH: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 7/10
Looks like the creative outlet Pool have been crying out for with his quality on the ball and incisive passes.
9. Connor Ronan - 6/10
Looked neat and tidy and dangerous in the first half, but tired a little as the game wore on, eventually coming off.
10. Gary Madine - 6/10
Showed calmness and composure to put Pool ahead but ought to have equalised at the death when he hit the post.
11. Armand Gnanduillet - 5/10
First poor touch saw attack after attack break down, allowing Oxford the chance to break at speed.
12. SUB: Nathan Delfouneso - 6/10
For Ronan, 71'
Showed a willingness to at least run at his marker and take the game to the opposition after coming on.
