Nathan Shaw starred in Blackpool's 2-0 Central League win
Here's how Pool's players rated in their 2-0 win:
Made a string of saves, the most eye-catching of which came at the death to maintain Pools clean sheet. Failed to capitalise on a bright start which saw him make some powerful runs at right back. Ended up in midfield. Defended with minimal fuss at centre back but too slow in possession which allowed Tranmere to sit deep. Did his chances no harm with a dominant display at centre back. Distributed the ball well and made some important tackles. Calm and composed in possession of the ball while always looking to get forward. Must be pushing for a start. Showed some brilliant touches of the ball and posed a threat on both flanks. Set up Banges second goal. Assertive display in the middle of the park. Sprayed the ball around and threaded through a lovely pass for Banges opener. Neat and tidy in possession of the ball and made a couple of powerful runs through the centre of the pitch. Very quiet in the first half but soon sprung into life at the start of the second period with his pace and tricky wing play. Linked up well with strike partner Bange and showed some neat touches of the ball in and around the Tranmere box. Took his two goals very well but also held the ball up superbly while also winning most of his flick-ons. For Scannell, 60
Struck up a good understanding with his fellow youth teamers and looked to get in behind Tranmeres backline. For Guy, 72
Always willing to get on the ball and find pockets of space in between the oppositions defence and midfield. For Adarkwa, 72
Looked composed and solid on the left of Pools back three following the late change in formation. For Bange, 89
Slotted in at right back in the dying stages of the game to give two-goal striker Bange a deserved rest.
