Blackpool saw off Leeds United's Under-21 side 3-0 at Bloomfield Road last night to qualify for the knockout phase of the EFL Trophy.

Made a superb save to deny Joe Gelhardt at a crucial time in the game to cap off a strong first start.

Did well defensively after picking up an early yellow card for a combative challenge. Offers plenty going forward.

Did everything with minimal fuss on his return to the centre of defence, but not particularly tested.

Far too pedestrian on the ball, which led to him being caught in possession. Involved in the second goal.

Caught out a couple of times against his hometown team, but otherwise fairly solid wearing the captain’s armband.
