  • Seasiders bidding to make it three wins on the spin
  • Pool sweating over the fitness of central midfielders Kenny Dougall and Kevin Stewart

We’re back underway

Sheffield United get the second-half underway. Both sides remain unchanged.

Seasiders will be happy with that scoreline as they’ve been second best so far. Blades fans getting a bit restless (not quite at the #BigFatBoo stage) but their side have looked strong.

Josh Bowler goes down clutching his right leg. Gary Madine pulls him to his feet though and we’re able to continue.

James Husband concedes a free-kick over on the far side. Good crossing position for the Blades in the final minute of the first-half.

A rare venture forward for Blackpool comes to nothing, as the ball rebounds off Gary Madine and behind for a goal kick.

Pool will just be happy to keep it goalless until half-time.

Iliman Ndiaye somehow fires wide from point-blank range after latching onto Morgan Gibbs-White’s clever through-ball.

Pool should be 1-0 down here.

Blackpool are all over the shop defensively, as they take three, four, five attempts to clear the ball inside their own box. They somehow manage to survive though.

The home side are piling on the pressure though.

Lys Mousset plays a dangerous ball across the face of the Blackpool goal, but no-one is there to take advantage.

Seasiders are living a bit dangerously here.

Josh Bowler does what he does so well, getting Blackpool 50/60/70 yards up the pitch with a marauding run forward.

Pool needed that as well, as they were coming under a bit of pressure.

Another let off there for Pool, as Iliman Ndiaye gets in behind Richard Keogh before putting it on a plate for Lys Mousset, who can only shoot straight at Dan Grimshaw from 10 yards out.

Blades’ movement causing problems once again.
