A half of nothing-ness. Very pedestrian. No chances to speak of. All very comfortable for the League Two side.

Shock on the cards here if the Seasiders don’t show a bit of urgency.

Dom Thompson concedes a needless free-kick on the stroke of half-time, giving Barrow a chance to swing a cross into the box.

He’s not the only one, but Thompson has endured a poor 45 minutes.

Barrow’s Josh Gordon is shown a yellow card for leaving it late on Callum Connolly.

The forward can have no complaints with that one.

Marvin Ekpiteta does well to make a vital headed clearance as Ben Whitfield’s right-wing cross almost picks out Josh Gordon in the six-yard box.

Theo Corbeanu's low drive from the angle is well held by Paul Farman.

Finally a shot.

Blackpool with all the ball so far but Barrow more than comfortable sitting deep.

Lots of territory from the Seasiders so far but very little to show for it.

After some patient build-up play, Theo Corbeanu wins Blackpool a corner down the right.

It’s not been a sterling display so far from the Seasiders, but they’re the side on top.

Barrow swing in a cross from the left which causes a bit of panic in Blackpool’s six-yard box, but thankfully the ball bounces kindly for Chris Maxwell.

All a bit safe and nicey-nicey so far. Not making for a rip-roaring cup tie.
