Former Blackpool loanee Lewis Fiorini is reportedly edging towards a permanent exit from Manchester City.

The 22-year-old came through the Citizens youth setup but has been unable to register a senior appearance for the Premier League giants- with the majority of his game time in recent years coming out on loan.

Following a stint with Lincoln City during the 2021/22 season, he made the move to Bloomfield Road, where he appeared 14 times as the Seasiders were relegated from the Championship.

After remaining at the Etihad for the first half of the most-recent campaign, he was sent out to Charlton Athletic in January- featuring on just five occasions for the Addicks after experiencing a short-lived reunion with former Blackpool boss Michael Appleton.

Despite being contracted to Manchester City until 2026, Fiorini is set to make a permanent exit this summer.

Football Insider report the Scotland youth international will join Stockport County, who have just enjoyed promotion from League Two after finishing top of the division.
