With the likes of James Husband, Ollie Turton, Michael Nottingham and Matty Virtue all wearing the armband at different points during pre-season, Pool’s head coach has plenty of options to choose from.

“It’s something I want to do. It’s an absolute honour and a privilege to captain the club and it’s something I want to continue,” the shot stopper said.
