The midfielder made 21 appearances for the Seasiders, scoring three times, during the 2016/17 campaign as he helped Gary Bowyer’s side seal promotion from League Two.

The 25-year-old, who joined on loan from Wigan Athletic, came off the bench during the Wembley play-off final win against Exeter City.

Flores, who also spent a brief loan spell with AFC Fylde in 2018, has joined Hull from Irish side Dundalk.

He scored seven goals in 41 appearances for the League of Ireland side, including a sensational volley which was nominated for the 2020 FIFA Puskas Award.

Flores, who also had a spell with Swedish side Ostersunds, recently scored for Dundalk against Arsenal during a Europa League defeat.

“He’s different to what we’ve already got in midfield and will provide good competition for places.

“He can score a screamer and shoot from distance with his left foot and right foot. He can open up things and see passes. He is very good in terms of putting forwards in.

“We’re bringing him in for his creativity and he’s quite versatile in the way he plays.

“He’s a really good character and an excellent lad in how he goes about his business.”

While on loan with Chesterfield in 2017, Flores was taken to hospital after being involved in a car accident.
