The Seasiders are keen to move on the 30-year-old, who hasn't been given a squad number for the 2020/21 campaign.

Devitt, who has until October 16 to secure a move away, has yet to make a competitive appearance for Blackpool despite moving to the Fylde coast in summer 2019.

Speaking to BBC Radio Cumbria after Barrow's 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient, Dunn said: "We have looked at Jamie. Let's wait and see where it goes.

"We have a couple [of targets] in mind. Let's see if we can tie them up before next week."

Speaking to The Gazette on Thursday, Blackpool boss Neil Critchley praised Devitt's professionalism despite being frozen out of his first-team plans.

“He’s been brilliant to work with. He’s a really good professional, he understands the situation and he wants to go and play games, he wants to go and play football and he wants to get his career going again.

“He’s had a bad time with injury in the past 12 to 18 months, so he’s doing his best to sort that situation out for himself. I for one hope he can because he’s desperate to go and play football again and we’re hopeful that can happen in the next week or so for him.”
