The Seasiders start their campaign on Tuesday, September 8 when they host David Dunn’s Barrow at Bloomfield Road.

Pool have already taken on the League Two newcomers this summer, beating them 2-1 in a pre-season friendly thanks to goals from Jordan Thorniley and Matty Virtue.

The game will come four days before Blackpool’s league opener at Plymouth Argyle on September 12.

Neil Critchley’s men will then make the short trip to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday, October 6, before welcoming Leeds United’s Under-21 side to the Fylde coast for their final group game on Tuesday, November 10.

“Kick off times and details on how you can watch the matches will be confirmed as soon as possible,” the club said.

Blackpool begin this season’s competitive action away at Stoke City on Saturday in their Carabao Cup first round tie.
