David Dunn leaves Barrow just five months after move from Blackpool
Saturday’s defeat to Crawley extended Barrow’s winless streak in all competitions to nine matches and left them 21st in League Two.
The former Blackburn Rovers midfielder joined the Seasiders in January as assistant to then manager Simon Grayson, stepping up to caretaker boss when Grayson was sacked the following month.

Hide AdThe 40-year-old looked set to remain at the club under Neil Critchley but then agreed a two-year deal with newly promoted EFL club Barrow in July following their loss of manager Ian Evatt to Bolton Wanderers.
Dunn was in charge of the Cumbrian club for just 22 games, winning twice in League Two.
Assistant manager Rob Kelly, the former Fleetwood Town number two, has been placed in temporary charge until a successor is appointed.
