On the back of the 63-year-old’s appointment at Bloomfield Road last month, the Seasiders have climbed up the League One table.
Bruce’s tenure started with a 2-1 home victory over Exeter City, with James Husband bagging a late winner.
There were a couple of blips ahead of the international break, with a draw at home to Lincoln City and a defeat to Mansfield Town at Field Mill.
Bruce is an experienced coach, who has managed his fair share of clubs in the past.
