“We’ve fallen short at times because we think we’re better than what we are,” Bowyer said.
“When things are going well, I’m the one that takes the praise. Well it’s only right that I take the criticism when things aren’t going so well, like they are now.
“I’m a big enough person and I’ve been in the game long enough, I can take that.

Hide Ad“There are certain things I can’t control. I can control how we get the ball from the goalkeeper, to your outside centre-half, to get it to your wing-back and to get it to your striker. I can control that.
“But then that last bit, I’m not really in control of that. Whether it’s their finish or their control, I can’t control that.”
