Blackpool 2-1 Ipswich Town: Joe Nuttall strikes at the death to seal another dra...

Joe Nuttall snatched the three points for the Seasiders as he came off the bench to head home a 92nd-minute winner.

Just seconds prior to Nuttall's goal, just his second in the league all season, Freddie Sears had wasted a golden chance to win the game for the visitors.

Sears had earlier levelled in the second half to cancel out Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's first-half effort, but Nuttall struck at the death to secure back-to-back victories for the Seasiders.

The result means seven of Blackpool's last 12 games have ended in a 2-1 scoreline.

Speaking post-match, Dunn said: “It’s always great to score late on, just as we did on Tuesday - we’re making a bit of a habit of it!

“It just shows what a good togetherness the lads have got to keep doing.

“You could see for the last five or 10 minutes they were on their knees a little bit with Ipswich throwing everything at it to get that win.

“But the way they stuck together and grinded out a really good three points was brilliant.

"I’m delighted for Joe, for him to get the winner is great. He’s a good kid so I was delighted for him.

“Let’s be honest, Ipswich were flying high at one point. I know they’ve had a bit of a dip in form in recent weeks but they’ve got some good players, which is why they were top of the league for a while.

“I’m delighted for the lads. We told them they would be quite direct and we told them they would press in large numbers.

“The lads didn’t see anything out there we hadn’t already told them but I have to say I was a little bit disappointed with our performance.

“I don’t think it was up to what we’d seen previously, certainly in the games I’ve been coaching.

“I was disappointed at half time and I said we couldn’t get any worse.

“I thought their goal was so avoidable, I felt we took too long making decisions and we took too many touches.

“We didn’t get our passes going but when we did, we opened them up and we said that would be the case before the game.

“I was disappointed for large parts of the game, probably up until the second goal, because I knew we were better than that and everyone in the changing room knows they’re better than that.

“We can’t be too down because we’ve just got another three points and that’s what we want.

“Sometimes the difficult conditions are a factor in things but we’re just happy to get the win.”
