The 20-year-old joins the National League outfit having enjoyed a successful loan spell with AFC Fylde earlier in the campaign.

Shaw was due to spend the remainder of the campaign with the Coasters, but was recalled in January following the suspension of the National League North season.

The winger had previously played a key role for Jim Bentley's side, helping them into the play-off spots, scoring twice in 19 appearances.

Having returned to Bloomfield Road, Shaw made his league debut for Blackpool at the end of February, coming off the bench during the 3-0 win against Charlton Athletic.

Shaw, a product of Blackpool’s academy, impressed under Critchley during pre-season, but was left out of Blackpool's squads at the start of the campaign.

He did, however, start Blackpool’s goalless EFL Trophy draw against Barrow at the start of September.

Shaw made his competitive Blackpool debut last season in the 5-1 EFL Trophy win against Morecambe, going on to make one further appearance in the competition.
