Blackpool v QPR - live updates

Key Events

  • LIVE: Blackpool 1-1 QPR
  • Game televised live on Sky Sports (5.30pm kick-off)
  • Seasiders looking to get back to winning ways after midweek setback

Seasiders have been excellent, but they trail in controversial circumstances. They’ve had a goal wrongly ruled out, a strong penalty shout ignored and a QPR man could easily have been sent off.

Two minutes will be added on at the end of the first-half.

Can Pool get the equaliser they richly deserve before the break?

James Husband flies to meet Ryan Wintle’s near post corner, but he can’t quite keep his header down.

Gary Madine was shown a yellow card a few moments ago, so he’ll have to be careful for the remainder of the game.

Pool now have a corner in front of the North Stand.

38 - A replay of the QPR goal

Moses Odubajo only booked for going right through the back of Josh Bowler. Could easily have been worse.

Marvin Ekpiteta is denied from close range following a Pool corner. Seny Dieng made a good save with his legs to deny the defender.

Josh Bowler roams into the QPR box, as he so often does, before the ball ricochets to Gary Madine. He has a fairly simple task of laying it off to Owen Dale on the edge of the box, but the striker gets it all wrong and the chance goes begging.

26 - GOAL QPR (0-1)

It has to be said, that’s a lovely goal from Chris Willock, who cuts inside and curls a lovely effort in off the post.

Just typical though. Pool should be 1-0 ahead and had a great shout for a penalty too.

23 - A replay of the early controversy
