Leandro Bacuna looks to have beaten the offside trap as he latches onto a through-ball, but his shot is smothered by Chris Maxwell.

The linesman’s flag goes up eventually, which the Cardiff players (and fans!) aren’t happy with.

The ball drops for Keshi Anderson in the final third and the midfielder looks to play Tyreece John-Jules through on goal, but his pass is overhit. CJ Hamilton looked to be the better option to his right.

Ryan Giles’ inviting cross beats everyone and almost drops into the far corner, but Chris Maxwell does well to fly across his goal and tip it around the post. Close again for the visitors.

29 - Cardiff chance

Leandro Bacuna’s shot deflects up towards the back post, where James Collins heads weakly at Chris Maxwell. Away side are winning every header in the Blackpool box at the moment.

27 - Great clearance

That’s a great headed clearance from Callum Connolly to deal with another threatening cross in from the right. A really important one, too.

Luke Garbutt has his hands full with Ryan Giles on the other side.

23 - Contrast in styles

If Blackpool can get the ball down and play around their opponents, they’ll have a great chance. But if they get sucked into an aerial battle, there’s only going to be one winner.

Marlon Pack’s long throw right next to the corner flag causes more problems for the Seasiders. It’s flicked across Chris Maxwell’s six-yard box, but Callum Connolly does well to head away under pressure.

The referee spots a push on Connolly and awards Pool a foul.

Tyreece John-Jules shows some neat footwork to escape a couple of challenges, before lofting a cross up to Jerry Yates. The striker’s header bounces just wide.

“There’s only one Charlie Adam” sings the North Stand as Luke Garbutt stands over a 30-yard free-kick. His effort isn’t quite up to the standard of that Wembley goal though, firing straight into the wall.

Pool struggle to deal with another ball into their book. The bouncing ball falls nicely for Aden Flint, who sends an acrobatic effort against the bar and away to safety.

Seasiders living dangerously here.
