Blackpool talisman Jerry Yates 'attracting interest' from Championship trio Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City
Blackpool striker Jerry Yates is attracting interest from Championship trio Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Bristol City, according to reports.
Transfer speculation website Football Insider claims the three clubs will look at Yates this summer, but the Seasiders currently value the 24-year-old at around £2m.
The striker took his tally for the season to 16 goals last night with a brace during Blackpool's 3-1 win against Peterborough United.
Yates fired home from 25 yards in the first minute, before adding a second from the penalty spot in the second-half to help the Seasiders climb up into the League One play-offs.
Pool beat off competition from a number of clubs to sign Yates from Rotherham United at the start of the season for an undisclosed fee.
The striker agreed a three-year deal with the club holding the option to extend by a further 12 months.
Yates, who scored 14 goals in 36 games on loan in League Two with Swindon Town last season, failed to score in his first 11 games for the Seasiders.
But since then, he's bagged 16 in 29 games in all competitions, 14 coming in the league and two in the FA Cup.
