Key Events

  • Seasiders aiming to cut gap to the top six

Philip Zinckernagel should make it 4-0 as he goes through on goal but Dan Grimshaw makes an excellent save to deny him.

Kevin Stewart, on a booking, is replaced by Callum Connolly.

Josh Bowler's curling low effort is relatively easy for Brice Samba to handle.

The winger is seeing a lot more of the ball now.

Kevin Stewart is booked for a foul on Brennan Johnson. Good job he didn’t get cautioned in the first-half...

Josh Bowler causes havoc down the right and his cross eventually finds its way to Kenny Dougall, whose shot deflects agonisingly wide.

CJ Hamilton can't hit the target at the back post from Josh Bowler's dangerous ball in.

Pool fans want a penalty as Jerry Yates goes to ground in the box, but looked like the Forest man won the ball.

Don't know why Yates didn't just hit it first time.

Almost a horror start to the second-half as Marvin Ekpiteta mishits a pass back to Dan Grimshaw, but thankfully the keeper reaches the ball ahead of Philip Zinckernagel.

We’re back underway

Kenny Dougall gets the second-half started.

Can Pool muster any sort of comeback?

Best 45 minute display I’ve seen from any team against Blackpool this season. Three shots on target, three goals. Clinical stuff.

Defensively Pool haven’t been at it at all and Dan Grimshaw’s distribution has been surprisingly poor, but they’ve caused plenty of problems going forward. The quality just hasn’t been there.
