Second-half goals from Andi Weimann and Alex Scott handed the Robs the win in this sleepy lunchtime encounter in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
The Seasiders barely threatened Max O’Leary’s goal, other than one glaring miss in the first-half when Jerry Yates somehow failed to hit the target with the goal at his mercy.
Here’s how Pool’s players rated:

14. SUB: Kenny Dougall - 6/10
For Garbutt, 68 Kept things tidy enough, but ought to have been introduced sooner. Tried to get forward and get in and around the box. Photo: CameraSport - Ian Cook
15. SUB: CJ Hamilton - 5/10
For Bowler, 68 A cameo to forget. Catching the ball before it had gone out for a throw-in led directly to Bristol City’s second goal. Photo: CameraSport - Ian Cook
