Blackpool pair make shortlists for EFL end of season awards- with competition including Wigan Athletic and Peterborough representatives
The former Celtic youngster has impressed since arriving at Bloomfield Road on loan from Brest back in the summer. In 42 appearances in all competitions, the 21-year-old has scored seven goal and provided 12 assists- becoming a key man for the Seasiders.
His form has been so impressive, he has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Leeds United, Everton and Nottingham Forest in the last few weeks. The attacking midfielder is up against Peterborough United’s Ronnie Edwards and Wigan Athletic’s Charlie Hughes for the League One accolade.

Hide AdElsewhere, Rob Apter’s efforts this season have also been recognised, with the 20-year-old being nominated for League Two Young Player of the Year, following his efforts with Tranmere Rovers.
After impressing at Prenton Park during the first half of the campaign, he was handed a new deal with Blackpool, before being sent back out to the Birkenhead club. In 36 appearances for the Rovers, he has scored 10 times and provided five assists.
Apter is up against MK Dons’ Max Dean and Stockport County’s Ethan Pye for the League Two award.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on April 14.
