The Seasiders take on Crewe Alexandra this weekend looking for just their second win of the campaign, having lost four of their opening five games.

Despite the poor start, performances in the main have been good and Robson believes it’s only a matter of time until the wins follow.

The midfielder, 23, said: “It’s been a tough start results-wise but the frustrating thing is we’re not too far away from the complete performance.

“Saturday was not what we wanted and we’re still hurting from that because 4-1 (to Ipswich) is a bit of a big defeat.

“We’re still positive because we know the potential we have. We all know we’re not too far away. It’s fine margins. We’re getting beat at the minute, so we have to buck our ideas up a bit and go again.

“We have good players, but for whatever reason it’s just not happening at the minute.

“Perhaps we’re not getting that bit of luck but we know the results haven’t been good enough.

“But there are definitely positive signs. We’re all ready for Saturday and we believe the results will come.”
