Blackpool launch new home kit for 2018/19 season

Blackpool have released their new home kit for the upcoming 2018/19 season.

The strip, once again produced by Errea, features new sponsor BetSid.

The betting company, owned by Lancashire entrepreneur Simon Rigby, have agreed a three-year deal to become the club's new principal sponsor.

They take over from online marketing agency tp, who sponsored the shirts for the last two seasons.

The Seasiders’ white away shirt will stay the same as last season, albeit with the new shirt sponsor.

The blue third kit will no longer be used.

“Blackpool provides us with a great opportunity to showcase our quality proposition and reach new audiences, offering punters across the country access to our winning formula that has proved so successful here in Lancashire.”

Blackpool FC chairwoman Natalie Christopher added: “On behalf of the club I would like to welcome BetSid on board and thank them for their support of the team.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to wish them every success with the launch of their new online platform.

“We now look forward to building a strong relationship and hopefully starting the season with a good performance from the team at Wycombe on Saturday.”
