The Huddersfield Town loanee was utilised off the bench in the FA Cup second round tie, but was on the end of a poor challenge not long after coming on.

Seasiders boss Neil Critchley is hoping the 33-year-old will be able to feature in this weekend’s League One fixture against Bristol Rovers at Bloomfield Road.

"Jordan’s still a little bit sore,” he explained.

"He got up, carried on and finished the game against Forest Green, but it’s stiffened up a little bit because he’s jarred his shoulder.

"We’ve still got 48 hours so we’re hopeful he’ll be fine to play.

"It’s just a bang. Almost like a kick to his shoulder. It was quite a forceful challenge and quite a big knock he took.

"Everyone else is fine. There’s only Shayne (Lavery) and Kylian (Kouassi)- who are getting closer to integrating back into training. Hopefully in the next week or two they’ll join the group.

"We’ve had little bumps and knocks from the other night, but nothing serious. It was Matty Virtue’s first game for a while so he cramped up a little bit, Olly Casey did too, Albie (Morgan) had a tight calf, and Bees (Jake Beesley) had a bang to his foot, but they’re all fine and we expect them to be in contention.”

Kenny Dougall has not featured in the last two games for the Seasiders, with Critchley opting to rotate his midfield.

Discussing if the Australian could return this Saturday, the Blackpool manager added: “He’s in contention; he’s trained today. He’s still in contention for Saturday and the other games coming up.”
