Blackpool’s reward for beating West Bromwich Albion is a trip to fellow Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Should the Seasiders overcome Graham Potter’s side, they will take on either Brentford or Leicester City away from home in the fifth round.

It follows the competition’s first ever double draw, conducted by former England and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch, held to help with fixture planning during a congested season.

Neil Critchley’s side beat the top flight Baggies on penalties on Saturday, having drawn 2-2 after extra-time.

Brighton, meanwhile, also required spot kicks to overcome League Two side Newport County at Rodney Parade.

The fourth round is scheduled to take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 of January.

That means Blackpool’s League One fixture at home to Accrington Stanley, scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 23, will have to be rearranged

The fifth round, meanwhile, is set to take place during midweek on Wednesday, February 10.
