Blackpool are celebrating 125 years at Bloomfield Road this season.

Blackpool have released a special kit to mark their 125th anniversary of life at Bloomfield Road.

The unique shirt, which is a limited edition, has been designed to encapsulate elements of the Seasiders’ history at their famous home - which has been their permanent base since 1901.

Fans will be able to get their hands on jersey from tomorrow (August 29) both online and in-store

Discussing the kit, Blackpool’s head of marketing and media Ross Morgan said: “Bloomfield Road is more than just a football stadium. It has been our home for 125 years and is a huge part of what makes Blackpool FC what it is today.

“We wanted to create something that felt genuinely different and that reflected the history of our home. There are lots of details within the design that supporters will recognise, from elements of the stadium itself to references to our historic crests and the year 1901.

“With only 1,901 shirts being produced, this is a really special piece of Blackpool FC history. We hope supporters will wear it with pride, whether that’s inside Bloomfield Road, around the town or wherever they are supporting the Seasiders.”
