Blackpool and League One rivals Ipswich Town linked with move for Scunthorpe United winger
Blackpool have been linked with a move for Scunthorpe United winger Alex Gilliead.
According to Football League World, the Seasiders and their League One rivals Ipswich Town are both showing an interest in the 25-year-old.
Gilliead, who has made 38 appearances for Scunthorpe this season, scoring once, is out of contract in the summer.
He also scored six times in 42 appearances last season before the campaign was curtailed early.
The County Durham player joined Scunthorpe on a permanent deal from Shrewsbury Town in 2019.
Gilliead began his career in Newcastle United's academy, before spending loan spells with Carlisle United, Luton Town and Bradford City.
He has also represented England at youth level from the Under-16s to Under-20s.
Ipswich sit in 11th and two points off the Seasiders in the league table, having played a game more.
