Blackpool and Fleetwood Town to discover EFL Trophy opponents on Friday

Blackpool and Fleetwood Town are among the 32 qualifiers for this first knockout stage in a tournament now rebranded the Papa John’s Trophy.

The draw will be made from Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s home from 6.15pm and can be heard live on talkSPORT2.

Group winners Fleetwood will be one of eight home teams in the northern half of the draw, while Blackpool will be among the eight away teams after finishing runners-up in their group.

The ties will be played during the week commencing December 7.
