LIVE: Hartlepool vs Blackpool

Husband receives treatment

James Husband is on the deck and receiving treatment whilst Pool ready their second sub of the afternoon before half time.

Hartlepool head at goal

The home side have their first attempt on target, a free kick is swung in from the left and Mark Cullen meets it but it’s comfortable for Grimshaw.

Madine is round at the far post to head back across goal but it is cleared off the line!

Lavery in behind but can’t capitalise

Shane Lavery tackles Sterry and sets off towards the Hartlepool net but Odusina is back to poke the ball away from him and concede a corner.

Anderson hobbles off clutching his left hamstring and CJ Hamilton replaces him.

Anderson down off the ball

Keshi Anderson is down and looks to be struggling, he pulled up as he made a run inside off the ball and it immediately looked like a hamstring issue.

Callum Connolly is booked for a foul on Odusina as he brought the ball forward out of the backline.

Blackpool win the ball high up the pitch through Husband, Andreson gets down the left side and pulls it back for Lavery who misses the target from six yards out.

Home fans frustrated

Blackpool are doing a very good job on their hosts so far, Hartlepool are having their fair share of possession but it is all inside their own half with their centre backs.

Long balls are finding no one and if they try to play through Pool the press is suffocating them.

Bowler looks to go on the outside and wins the set piece.

It’s headed away at the near post and Anderson is the man to deliver the second cross, Callum Connolly rises highest in the area and heads into the back of the net off the crossbar but it’s ruled out for offside.
