Believe it or not, the 50-year-old has returned to management after an eight-year exodus to take temporary charge of Reading.
The Royals bizarrely sacked Veljko Paunovic after Saturday's 3-2 win against Preston North End.
Saturday's game will be a surprise reunion for Ince, who had an all-too brief spell in the managerial dugout between 2013 and 2014.
Here's how that reign played out...

. Feb 18, 2013 - Appointed
Ince agrees to become Blackpool's new boss, succeeding Michael Appleton. He agrees a one-year rolling contract.

. Feb 20, 2013 - Losing start
Ince loses his first game in charge 2-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road.

. March 9, 2013 - First win
Ince has to wait until March to earn his first win as his son Tom and Gary MacKeznie score in a 2-1 victory against Watford at Vicarage Road.

7. Oct 8, 2013 - Trouble
Ince is given a five-game stadium ban for his conduct toward a match official during the win against Bournemouth. The FA hearing found Ince shouted 'I'll knock you f*****g out you c***' and "violently shoved" a fourth official. Ince was also sent to the stands after throwing a water bottle that struck a female spectator.

8. Oct 19, 2013 - There's only one Paul Ince...or not
The Gazette teamed up with Radio Wave to print off 10,000 Paul Ince face masks to lend their support to the manager on his ban (yeah, sorry about that one). Ince’s son Tom ironically scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory against Wigan.

9. Nov 30, 2013 - Last win
Ince’s last win came at Bloomfield Road thanks to a 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday, leaving Blackpool in fourth place and just four points adrift of the top two.

10. Dec 3, 2013 - Yeovil chaos
Ince accuses his players of “shaming the club” after losing 1-0 to Yeovil Town. Ince, on his second game back in the technical area after serving a five-game ban for abusing an official, questioned the discipline of Kirk Broadfoot, Gary MacKenzie and Ricardo Fuller, who were all shown red cards.

11. Jan 18, 2014 - Last dance
Blackpool lose 2-0 to a Barnsley side that were without a win in seven. It was Blackpool’s eight defeat in nine. It proves to be Ince’s final game in charge.

12. Jan 21, 2014 - Sacked
Ince leaves Blackpool after less than a year in charge, becoming the club's fourth-shortest-serving manager in their history (40 league games). Under his management, Blackpool won 12 out of 42 games and had not won since November 30, 2013.
