The Seasiders took on Port Vale in their final pre-season friendly of the summer – with the visitors coming away with a 1-0 victory.
Dale Taylor had the pick of the chances for the Seasiders, but was unable to convert, while Jon Brady’s side were kept quiet on the whole until Jasper Moon’s late winner.
Attention now turns to the EFL Cup, with Blackpool starting the new season away to Grimsby Town this weekend.
