Trips on the road were gruelling at times last season, but Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 victory over Stockport County certainly gave fans something to shout about.
The Seasiders headed to Edgeley Park having struggled against the Hatters in recent times, but were able to build on their 1-1 draw with Wycombe Wanderers on the opening weekend.
Tom Bloxham and Josh Bowler were both on the scoresheet for Ian Evatt’s side in Greater Manchester to make it four points from their first two game, as a late Mika Mandron goal proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
