It will be most fondly remembered for yet another promotion, a record-breaking sixth triumph via the play-offs.
But that barely covers the half of it, as the Seasiders battled a global pandemic to stay afloat to not only survive, but thrive in the most unusual of times.

13. The news we’d all been waiting for
Neil Critchley committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract until 2026. It came after the likes of Chris Maxwell, Kenny Dougall and Jerry Yates had all put pen to paper on new deals.
The Seasiders lost meekly away to crisis club Derby County having been beaten 3-0 at home to Luton in their previous outing. Neil Critchley’s side failed to find the back of the net in four consecutive games.
Blackpool’s seven-game run without a win came to an end with a crucial 3-1 win against Peterborough. It moved the Seasiders onto 30 points at the halfway mark in the season.
