But defender Tilt was happy to focus on a job well done this season, despite speaking of his disappointment at the New York Stadium defeat.
The Gazette player of the year said: “We wanted to finish the season on a high and get the three points but we had a terrible first half.

“I thought we played some good football second half and I felt we should have scored. We should have at least got the draw, if not nicked the win.

But for the second week running they were made to pay for their wastefulness in front of goal.

The 26-year-old added: “I’m just going to relax and that’s about it. I’m going to shut off but I don’t really know what I’m going to do.
“Being a part-time player prior to coming here I’ve not been in this situation many times before, so we’ll just have to see what comes.”
