Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Alex Cairns has signed a new contract at the club, keeping him at Highbury until 2023.

The 28-year-old joined the club in 2016 on a free transfer and has gone on to secure the no.1 spot since.

There were concerns for the stopper last season as he fell out of favour and lost his no.1 squad number going into this season.
