Hide AdAs well as a place in the first round, when League One and Two clubs enter the draw, victory is worth £9,375 from the competition’s central prize fund.
The losing club, in contrast, will walk away with £3,150 for their efforts.
Fylde reached the first round proper last season after victory over Leek Town gave them a trip to Sutton United.
That was the end of their involvement as two goals in six second-half minutes from Harry Smith saw Sutton win 2-1 after Jon Ustabasi had given the Coasters a half-time lead.
