AFC Fylde boss is back in charge after heart surgery is delayed

AFC Fylde has announced that manager Jim Bentley has now returned to Mill Farm to take charge of first-team duties.

Bentley had been self-isolating before long-awaited heart bypass surgery next Tuesday, November 3, with Nick Chadwick taking charge in the interim.

However, as a result of the current Covid-19 situation, the operation has now been delayed until the end of November.

Consequently, the former Morecambe manager has taken training as usual and will be back in the dugout for tomorrow’s National League North fixture against Farsley Celtic.
