AFC Fylde 1 Accrington Stanley 4

AFC Fylde’s FA Cup adventure is over after they were outclassed by League Two Accrington Stanley - but Fleetwood Town eased through to the next round.

Will Hatfield helped himself to all four Accrington goals with Adam Farrell grabbing a last minute consolation for Dave Challinor’s Evostik side.

Hatfield opened the scoring on 32 minutes heading in a left wing cross before stabbing home from six yards to put Accrington, led by former Blackpool defender Leam Richardson, in control at the break.

Hatfield was then on hand to grab his hat-trick from close range on 77 minutes before completing the rout on 86 minutes.

Adam Farrell helped soften the scoreline with a goal in the last minute but Fylde were well beaten by a side 67 places above them in the football pyramid.

Jon Parkin scored twice from the spot after David Ball had opened the scoring at Highbury as Fleetwood Town shrugged off the challenge of non-league Bromley, all the goals in a 3-0 win coming in the first half.

Parkin thought he had a hat-trick but his fine left foot shot was ruled by the assistant referee.
