Blackpool and District Youth League round-up

It was Fisher’s 201st consecutive game in the Gold Bond Blackpool and District Youth Football League as his side beat Layton Blues 10-0.

Bradley Jones opened the scoring for YM after Isaac Eastham had combined well with Jack Bishop, then who doubled the lead moments later.

George Hawkins drove into the box to set-up Jones for his second soon after.

A luckless Layton defender then deflected a Bishop cross into his own goal, giving YMCA a 4-0 lead at the break.

Bishop was involved again after the restart as he crossed for Jones to complete his hat-trick.

Bishop, having a superb game, fired two quick goals to complete a hat-trick of his own before Pat Lonsdale scored YM’s eighth. Ross Hart added a ninth shortly Bishop completed the scoring with his fourth.

Elsewhere, goals from Jacob Mullin, Jacob Cheeseman and Will Brown gave Blackpool Rangers a 3-1 win against Poulton to move them up to third, Joe Robinson replying.

In the Beta league, Jayden Marsh scored an incredible eight goals to help Layton Clarets beat Poulton Town 12-1, Jamie Logan(2), Mason Taylor and an own goal completing the scoring.

FC Rangers Blues went back to the top of the U18 division after goals from Rob Oxley(2), Lewis Camm(2), Jordan Ratcliff and Caiden Callaghan gave them a 6-1 win at Warton Typhoons.

In the U12 Alpha competition, Karl Pacheco and Charlie Strachan ensured Layton beat Thornton Cleveleys Whites 2-0.

A Jake Marshall brace and a Connor Satchel goal gave Foxhall a narrow 3-2 win against St Annes, for whom Angello Karadzhinov and Keaton Adam scored.

At U13 level, the Hogan Plate got under way and the scoreline of the day was Poulton’s 8-6 win over Thornton Cleveleys Blues.

Declan Bond scored four as goals by Joshua Hampson(2), Harrison Bailey and Jamie Elliott sealed victory for Poulton.

Ellis Wilson was the unluckiest of players after he scored five goals for Thornton but finished on the losing side. Aaron Clingan who also scored for the Blues.

Jacob-Stone-Grice(3), Rio Louth, Robbie Fitzpatrick, Alex Mullen, Desmond Baker, Jude Hartley and an own goal gave Foxhall a 9-0 win at Blackpool Rangers.

Rhys Dodd continued his fantastic goalscoring run with another hat-trick as Lytham Juniors beat Fleetwood Gym 7-0, James Lumsden scored a brace, with Ewan Macauley and Harry Redman also on target.

BJFF Vipers knocked out St Annes 6-1 thanks to goals from Joseph Warwick (2), Nathan Winstanley, Liam Skilbeck, Dylan Hopwood and Harvey Faller, Ethan Derbyshire replying.

In the league, BJFF Blades went to the top of the table after goals from Daniel Smith (3), Owen Mason(2), Charlie Croasdale(2) and James-Lee Robinson gave them an 8-0 win against Foxhall Hoops.

In the U14 Alpha league, the game of the day saw Thornton Cleveleys Reds leapfrog Clifton into top spot after their 4-1 win as Kian Makepeace led the way with a hat-trick.

James Stanley scored the other and Hayden Abreu replied.

Ollie Martin was the hero for Kirkham as he scored five in their 8-0 win against Layton Lions, Taylor Stock scoring two and Sam Saxton the other.

YMCA enjoyed a convincing 8-1 win against nine-man Blackpool Rangers.

The home side made the two-man advantage count as a Spencer Baxendale sent them into half-time with a 2-0 lead.

YMCA remained well on top after the restart and Baxendale netted twice more to increase their lead to 4-0.

Rangers pulled a goal back through Luca Hardman but as they understandably tired in the latter stages YMCA added a further four goals to claim a comfortable victory.

Baxendale capped an excellent performance by notching his fifth, with Jake Molloy, Toby Grant and Ruben Shaw all on target also.

Wingback Toby O’Neil impressed throughout for YMCA.

The all-BJFF derby ended all square as the Blades and the Blues played out a 2-2 draw, Lee McEwan and Harrison Sharp scoring for the Blades and Oliver Moran and Tyler Moore for the Blues.

Dan Crewsdon scored for Fleetwood Town and Joe Warren-Plant for Poulton Town as the sides drew 1-1.

In the Beta league, BJFF Whites went top after goals from Josh Smithson (3), Ertunc Ozturk and Jamie Ellis gave them a 5-1 win at Layton Clarets.

White went top thanks to third-placed Warton Typhoons Gold beating former leaders Foxhall 3-1 courtesy of goals from Jacob Ellison-Britton(2) and Jack Brett, Sam Breeze replied.

Typhoons Blues team had a 7-3 win against BJFF Vipers, with goals coming from Korben Robinson (4), Harvey Nelson, Lawrence Chiwanda and Prince Chiwanda. Zac Hickling netted all three for Vipers.

In the U15 Hogan Cup quarter-finals, goals from Connor Baxter, Noah Fluss-Tramontano, Jimmy Nelson, Chris Bridges and Luke Sevens saw Kirkham Blues through to the semis at FC Rangers.

In the plate first round, goals from Rainey (2), Gibbons, Sargent, Prior, Wood and Whiteley completed BJFF Blades’ 7-0 romp against Northgate.

In the Alpha league, Clifton closed the gap on leaders Kirkham Blues with a close- fought 3-2 win against St Annes thanks to goals by Alfie Tomlinson, Jamie Hargreaves and Finley Clarkson. Replies came from Dan Pilling and Robert Flanagan.

Blackpool Rangers Tangerines went up to fourth in the league after edging out South Shore 2-1 courtesy of goals from Paul Hargreaves and Jordan Caine, Cameron Gourley replying .

A hat-trick from Connor Prendergast and a Nathan Feeney strike gave Poulton Town a shock 4-0 win against Blackpool Rangers Revolution.

In the Beta league, Kirkham Reds stretched their lead at the top of the league but will feel they should have done by more after drawing 1-1 with lowly Spirit of Youth.

Kieran Dawes on was target for the Reds and Dillon Ward for the heroic Spirit team.

Heroics too from Layton, who recorded their first points of the season.

They had a fantastic 2-0 win against Warton Typhoons thanks to Jacob Smith and Jack Smith.
