Ashton back at Fylde
Fylde’s Lancashire Cup first round clash with Burnage, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed but Woodlands did receive a boost this week.
Former England head coach Brian Ashton returned to the club last night to run a coaching session.
Mark Nelson invited him back for what is hoped will be a series of sessions throughout the season.
It was especially useful for the new players in the squad, who hadn’t enjoyed his brand of inspirational coaching in the past.
