Where and when can I watch it?
The Love Island Twitter account revealed that Love Island fans would be able to watch the Australian version in the UK from Monday 15 June.
The tweet read, “Missing your Love Island fix this summer? Catch Love Island: Australia every night from Monday 15th June on @itv2 and @itvhub #LoveIslandAus.”
Episodes will kick off at the usual time of 9pm on ITV2.
Reaction to the news from Love Island fans has been mixed, with some excited by the news, and others saying they would have preferred for ITV2 to air some of the older UK seasons that aren’t available to watch anymore.
One Twitter user wrote, “Doesn’t compare to our UK series. Would’ve just preferred you to put all the past seasons on ITV hub.”
Another posted, “Can’t wait, need something to fuel my Love Island withdrawals. Never seen the Oz version, so could be a little different. Though at the same time, I haven’t seen S1 of the UK version, so that would’ve been nice too. #LoveIsland.”
“Yay!! So missing this and need something to lift our spirits. I arrived late to the Love Island addiction party… only seen last season, any chance of adding all the olds to the ITV Hub?” Wrote another.
