The Royal Mail is releasing special Coronation Street stamps - here’s how to get them
The Royal Mail has unveiled a new set of Coronation Street-themed stamps to mark the 60th anniversary of the TV programme later this year.

Hide AdThe soap opera is set to celebrate a full 60 years on air in December 2020. In honour of the occasion, the postal company has created a collection of 12 special stamps.
What do the stamps feature?
Eight of the 12 are dedicated to the soap opera’s most famous couples including Vera and Jack Duckworth, Stan and Hilda Ogden, Ena Sharples and Elsie Tanner, Deirdre and Ken Barlow, Rita Tanner and Norris Cole, Tracy and Steve McDonald, Hayley and Roy Cropper, and Sunita and Dev Alahan.
The Royal Mail said in a statement that each stamp will also feature a quote which “conveys the essence of each relationship.”

Hide AdOn Vera and Jack Duckworth’s stamp, the quote reads, “Vera, my little swamp duck.”
Whereas Deirdre and Ken Barlow’s stamp reads, “Ken! Do something!”
Rovers Return Stamps
The remaining four stamps in the anniversary collection focus on Coronation Street’s local, the Rovers Return.

Hide AdThese four stamps come packaged in a Miniature Sheet and feature the characters who worked at the famous pub.
The four characters who appear on the Rovers Return Inn stamps are Raquel Watts, Bet Lynch, Gemma Winter, and Liz McDonald.
How much do they cost?
You can purchase the full set of 12 stamps online on the Post Office Website in a Presentation Pack for £14.20, which also comes with a special edition of The Weatherfield Gazette.

Hide AdIf you prefer to only purchase the set of eight stamps displaying the famous duos on the show, you can do so at the lower cost of £8.92.
Additionally, dedicated fans of the show can buy a framed stamp sheet displaying a selection of all the stamps in the collection for £29.99.
Fans can also purchase an enlarged framed print of the stamp featuring their favourite couple from the collection, for £59.99.
