
Two thousand football aficionados were polled to determine what they spent on shirts, match tickets, food and drink at games, and more between May 2021 and May 2022.
On average £46.70 was spent on replica tops – with 81 per cent paying slightly more to have a name printed on the back of their strip.
Those polled went to seven games on average at Bloomfield Road – splashing out £218 on tickets and £380.33 on refreshments.
Eighty-eight per cent of fans of Michael Appleby’s side opted to buy a season ticket which cost them £373.70 on average.
Next season has plenty of promise
“So while some fans might be somewhat despondent about last season’s 16th place finish, many big teams have fared much worse – languishing in League One for long spells.
“With this in mind – and the return of a popular manager – next season has plenty of promise.”
Seasiders fans made the journey to seven matches away during the last 12 miles – travelling 487 miles in total.
After avoiding relegation last season supporters will be hoping the ‘Pool finish higher next season – especially following the return of Michael Appleton to the dugout.
Fifteen per cent will definitely be betting on the side winning the division - as they do this every year without fail.
But perhaps even more supporters will be having a punt on securing the championship after Appleton’s return was announced on June 17th.
