Mr Marsden said: “I was pleased to be able to come and see for myself the Pobble class in action, it was great to see the real enthusiasm of the children and the eagerness they had for writing.

“I sat down and chatted with many of the children and also read out a sample letter for them to make comments on.

“I was really impressed with their ideas and responses on how they could make their writing more engaging.

“It was impressive they were being encouraged to use creative language but also think about sentence structures and the impact on the choice of words they use.”

Pobble teacher Louise Robinson said: “All the children really enjoyed the experience and I am sure it will have had a positive impact on their enthusiasm for writing.

“The workshop was a great demonstration of how effective Pobble can be in helping children to share and critique their writing with both a local and a worldwide audience.”

Pobble is now used in more than 100 countries.
