Woman 'walking in road' in Blackpool town centre after suspected drugs overdose
Emergency services were called to Blackpool town centre this afternoon after concerns were raised for the safety of a woman who is believed to have taken drugs.
The woman, in her 30s, was seen walking in the road in the Dickson Road and Talbot Road area at around 12.05pm.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "It looks like she may have taken drugs. It was called in as overdose poisoning."
The woman was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
One witness said she saw 'one ambulance and one police car' at the scene.
