Woman stabbed boyfriend in stomach, court told

Katisha Crosby, 27, formerly of Reads Avenue, Blackpool, now of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm.

Crosby was bailed to appear for sentence at Preston Crown Court on February 24 by District Judge Jane Goodwin sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court. She must not enter Reads Avenue as a condition of her bail.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said the offence took place last Thursday at a flat on Reads Avenue. The victim suffered a puncture wound in the stomach.

Peter Manning, defending, said his client, who had no previous convictions, had not intentionally caused injury, but she had been reckless.
