Woman admits car insurance guilt

A Lytham woman faces a lengthy ban after crashing into a car without insurance.

Twenty-four-year-old mother of one Rheagan Hendry of Station Road, admitted driving without due care and driving without insurance at Blackpool Magistrates today.

It followed a crash in which her silver Ford Fiesta drove into a woman’s Toyota Yaris which was at a set of traffic lights at Peel near Blackpool.

Both Hendry and the other driver suffered minor injuries in the accident.

It was the second time she has been caught driving an uninsured vehicle.

She now faces a driving ban.

She will now have to return to court and show reasons why she need not be banned from driving under the points totting-up procedures.
