Opening the Digital Front Door - what Fylde Council's new-look website will mean for residents
"We want every resident to feel confident using our website, and this upgrade makes that a reality”
A new-look website has been unveiled by Fylde Council, designed to help residents enjoy a faster, simpler way to access council services online.
The result of the upgrade is the new Digital Front Door, built in-house by the council's own digital team, and intending to transform the way people interact with the council online. #

At its heart is a new search-first experience, meaning residents can simply type what they're looking for and get straight to the right service, without having to navigate complicated menus or scroll through pages.
Whether you're paying a bill, reporting a problem or looking for local information, the new website is designed to get you there quickly and effortlessly.

The council says the upgrade also ensures the website is fully accessible to everyone in the community, meeting the highest accessibility standards.
It has been built to be secure, scalable and ready for the future - including the changes ahead for local government in Lancashire.
A spokesperson for Fylde Council said: "We want every resident to feel confident using our website, and this upgrade makes that a reality.
