Lancashire County Council has confirmed some of the routes that will be treated as forecasters warn snow could cause travel disruption in parts of the county tomorrow.
East Lancashire looks set to see the worst of the weather, with all priority routes in Burnley, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Rossendale, Pendle set to be gritted tonight.

Hide AdLCC also confirmed some of the priority routes in Lancaster and Wyre would see gritters out overnight - with some areas expected to see temperatures stay above zero. It has not specified exactly which routes would be gritted - but a map of priority routes in the county is on the council's website.


The authority, which is responsible for the county's highways, has not revealed any plans to send out gritters in Fylde, Chorley, Preston, South Ribble or West Lancashire.
A council spokesman said: "We have weather predictions of temperatures falling below zero tonight on some routes with a risk of snow and ice.
"We will apply salt to the affected priority routes tonight then monitor the conditions.

Hide Ad"Priority routes only cover a third of the highway network and ice patches can develop on treated surfaces caused by water run-off from fields or other sources. Ice is most likely on untreated surfaces."
LCC said it priority routes for salting and snow clearing include:
> Non-trunk Motorways and A roads, which are the main routes across Lancashire;
> B roads, which are routes in and out of towns; roads which lead to hospitals, emergency service stations, main employment centres, and important public transport routes;
> Single routes into villages.
