Following a week of torrential downpours and thunderstorms, temperatures are expected to rise into the high 20s across Lancashire in the coming days.
After a mild and potentially wet start on Monday (June 22), the weather is expected to remain dry and sunny up until Saturday (June 27), with light rain forecast on Sunday (June 28).

Hide AdWednesday and Thursday are predicted to be the hottest days of the week, with temperatures reaching highs of 28C across the county.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist, Dan Suri said: "Temperatures will continue to climb through the week with a hot spell developing across much of England and Wales.
"From Wednesday temperatures will widely reach into the high twenties Celsius and it’ll be hot across much of the UK, especially central and southern England where we could see highs of 30 to 34 Celsius.
"This hot weather is expected to last until at least Friday and so heatwave conditions are likely to develop for some areas this week."

Hide AdIn addition to the warm days, forecasters also predict we will see some warm nights this week as temperatures overnight remain in the mid-high teens across England and Wales.
With dry and sunny weather expected and the Government's Covid-19 alert level lowered to three, emergency services across the country are urging people to continue to respect the two-metre social distancing restriction.
People with elderly relatives should also make sure they are finding a way to keep cool during the lockdown, Age UK has warned.
